Debi Diamond writes me the following: Hi Gene, You know Vegas was amazing, I saw a lot of old friends, and really kept a eye out for you…Lots of pretty girls everywhere, and wow, by the time the week was over, my eyes hurt..So much visual stimulation, and I won’t even mention all the complete physical pounding I took, just having to show self control….

On another note, just to keep you informed, I have had a website in the works for a month or so. A lot of technical stuff I leave to the pro’s, I do my thing, and it’s so not computers…

Well, watching the site take form, peeking in here and there, testing photo storage, blog control, web cam etc….I logged in on Feb 22…Friday, and was so suprised to see, in place of my under construction sign, a CALLING CARD FROM A MAJOR TERRORIST GROUP….CALLING FOR NO ADULT MATERIAL…..wow, they hacked my very secure page, how can this be? Gene I think they love me!!!!! After some investigation, this is what my web master [Syd Sanchez] has informed me, and I wanted to share this with you…..

Diamond’s webmaster Syd Sanchez writes the following:

Let me first start off by saying I am not an expert in hacking by any means, so all I can tell you is what I know.

Let’s start with the basics, Debi’s site was Hacked sometime yesterday morning and her under construction page was replaced by a new page, which was essentially a calling card by the hacker.

Apparently this hacker is bold enough to feel the need to not only hack a website, but also leave his name, credits to others helping him, and his own Turkish based website url which is primarily a “Hackers” website. The Hacker labels himself as MadgerM & MJoRaYuLuN & LoRy. These three individuals are members of a Turkish based “Hacking gang” known as the “Turkish Defacer.”

There is a lot of information on the net (Google) concerning the original Turkish Defacer known as “iSKORPiTX” He alone is credited with taking down over 21,000 websites in a single day back in 2003. zone H is a website which reports and tracks websites that have been hacked and reports that from 2003 to 2006, it is said that he had hacked an estimated 117,000 websites. In May 2006, Zone-H reported that Iskorpitx successfully hacked another 21,549 websites in one shot.

Since that time there have been a few other “Turkish Defacers” that have pulled off similar incidents on a global scale. The most recent being the U.N. Website and the Vietnam Memorial Website. Here is a link to the

Now with regards to Debi’s Site,

MadgerM & MJoRaYuLuN & LoRy appear to be gunning for similar fame and are claiming affiliation with the “Turkish Defacer Gang”. Yahoo lists over 6 complete pages of websites which are still Hacked and up by these individuals. How many they have actually taken over is unknown if the sites no longer exist. iSKORPiTX seems to have promoted anti Israeli sentient in his Hackings where-as MadgerM & MJoRaYuLuN & LoRy seem to bee more moralistic in their approach by Leaving a Calling Card on the Website that Specifically says “No Adult Content Allowed.”

Needless to say, hacking is a federal offense and all of these individuals are being sought by the FBI. Unfortunately Turkey and Brazil are two countries which protect such hackers and that is why they strike from there.

This level of hacking needs to be understood to be appreciated.

On the small scheme of things most would be hackers simply go into a website and exploit a security vulnerability that a web admin might have missed. This is easily done by a lot of low level Hackers and they simply gain access to a sql database or some file system and delete things, or replace things with their own brandings.

What MadgerM & MJoRaYuLuN & LoRy did to Debi’s site was way beyond this.

They totally bypassed the sites security and Hacked the web host! This is masterpiece of web related sabotage, because big name hosting companies have teams of security personnel that have worked very hard to secure data.

Basically, Debi’s Hacker went to her hosting companies server, hacked it, then posted their own page on Debi’s site, they did not destroy data there but what they did was much higher level, they disabled her email, disabled her ftp access and changed her admin rights to their own.

Basically a terroristic way of saying “you do not control this site, we do” This level of expertise is found in very few individuals and is a hosting companies nightmare when it comes to data security.

Unfortunately, even Microsoft has suffered from these individuals and as far as I can tell there is nothing an individual web admin can do to protect themselves from these attacks, as the hackers are very high level programmers and know how to write scripts which inject “worms” into a server of a hosting company, and that pretty much opens the door for them to do anything.

So is Debi immune from a future hacking attempt? No.

MadgerM & MJoRaYuLuN & LoRy can open the security doors of one of the best hosting companies on the internet and move stuff around as they wish. As her web admin, and friend I can tell you this, the approach we are going to take to this is simple. Just like a spider and its web, tear the web down, we will build it again, and again, and again, until these individuals either loose steam, or mess up, and leave a finger print which will allow them to be caught.
