Vixen Media Group (VMG) has released the first installment of Equilibrium, a new five-part feature for its Deeper label. The production was written and directed by AVN Hall of Famer Kayden Kross.

The feature, which premiered on July 16, 2026, stars Jewel Diamant, alongside VMG exclusive contract stars Serenity Cox, Jessi Rae, and Jason Luv. The cast also includes a supporting ensemble and features two industry firsts.

Production Details and Narrative

Equilibrium draws on ancient myth and feminine archetypes, moving between an "ordered surface of duty and appearances" and an "underworld of the psyche where desire takes physical form." The story centers on three sisters and a philosopher named Jason, played by Jason Luv, who moves through their lives, taking what he wants.

The narrative begins with Jason's seduction of his student, Jewel, played by Jewel Diamant. When Jewel's father demands restitution, Jason is compelled to marry the eldest sister, Jessi, played by Jessi Rae. Jessi becomes a wife to a man who betrays her for five years until she recognizes the "fire that has been quietly consuming her home." Jewel, exiled to a convent, is drawn out of her longing by two nuns, played by Kenna James and Little Puck, who teach her the difference between obedience and truth. Presiding over the underworld is Serenity, played by Serenity Cox, described as a "gold-dusted goddess" who asks men for their best.

Kross described the central idea of the movie as a balance between giving and holding back. She stated it is not about "holding yourself back to meet someone else’s expectations" or "giving too freely," but rather about "giving honestly where someone else is giving honestly back." Kross referred to Equilibrium as "something sustaining, where one can’t overcome the other," and "the cosmic dance."

The feature's cast also includes Violet Myers, Rissa May, Vince Karter, Seth Gamble, Chocolate Rod, Prince Yahshua, Parker Ambrose, Hollywood Cash, Goldey, and Alex Jones.

Cast and Director Perspectives

Jewel Diamant commented on Kross's creative vision and respect within the industry, stating that Kross is "someone whose work I genuinely admire." Diamant described Kross as "deeply intelligent," with her intelligence reflected in her projects. Diamant found working on Equilibrium to be an "incredible experience" due to Kross's "clear artistic perspective that holds meaning." Diamant noted Kross's attention to detail, which elevates scenes, and the thought put into the project. Before filming, Kross met with Diamant to review the script and discuss the concept in detail, which Diamant found "pretty damn impressive."

Jason Luv described the experience as "unlike anything I’ve shot." He noted that Kross "builds an entire world around you and hands you a character with real depth to play." Luv stated that working at this level with such a cast and crew is "exactly why I do this."

Diamant also praised Luv as a scene partner, stating he "takes the cake." She mentioned the positive "vibes" on set, including the outfits and dialogue. Diamant felt that Luv's acting and delivery made her feel like she was "living the storyline," which "naturally revved up the energy between the two of us."

Deeper and Kayden Kross's History

Her first DVD feature for Deeper was Sacrosanct Now, which starred Alina Lopez, Mickey Mod, Adria Rae, Vicki Chase, Ashley Lane, Mick Blue, and Markus Dupree.

The first episode of Equilibrium premiered on July 16 on Deeper.com and Vixen Plus, Vixen Media Group's streaming platform. Additional episodes are scheduled for release through September.
