Nevada- With Nevada looking to cut just more than a billion dollars from its budget many people are looking for ways for Nevada to make extra revenue, including our own legislators.
It's a business that already funds the rural counties they're in.
But, one senator, Bob Coffin says, why not look at brothels in Nevada's two largest counties??
Dennis Hof says he's looking at property in downtown Reno.
Right now, legalized prostitution isn't permitted in counties with more than 400,000 residents, leaving out Clark and Washoe counties.
But, Hof says if the legislature changes the state statute, he's ready.
Hof says he's already looking at properities on South Virginia Street in downtown Reno.
"Reno already has sex. Page after page of escorts. Sierra sensual escorts, or would you rather have a mature escort? Or, let's try this? Blondes, brunettes and redheads, close up and personal escorts. Exotic secrets. If it's a secret? it's prostitution." Says Hof, while flipping through the Reno Yellow Pages.
He adds if the brothels come to Reno, it will bring jobs, not just for working girls, but also spread money in the community, restaurants, salons, dry cleaners.
