DANA POINT -- Former basketball star Dennis Rodman is in trouble with the law again.
Rodman is accused of swatting a woman on the behind at Hennessy's Tavern in Dana Point, according to the celebrity justice Web site TMZ.com,
One source said he spanked her so hard that it left a "major mark," TMZ reported.
The Web site did not say when the alleged spank occurred.
Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino told TMZ that "Officers did respond to an incident involving a man and a woman. A police report was taken and is currently with the sex crimes unit of the Sheriff's Department."
Previous charges against Rodman include assault and disturbing the peace.
Amormino was not available for comment tonight, but Lt. Hal Brotheim of the Orange County Sheriff's Department said he believes the sex crimes unit is investigating an incident involving the former NBA player.
