CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- from www.kptv.com - Clackamas County deputies are searching for a man who they said inappropriately touched a woman after asking her to try on shoes.
There have been multiple reports of the man approaching women at a Target store in Clackamas, deputies said Wednesday.
A woman who said she is a victim of the man spoke with a FOX 12 reporter, but did not want to be identified. She said the man approached her in a secluded part of the store and asked her to put on a pair of high heels. He told her he was shopping for his wife and wanted to know if the shoes were too uncomfortable, according to the victim.
She tried on the shoes and the man began touching her inappropriately, the victim said. She said the man rubbed his face against her thigh.
"He reaches around my arm to my leg and tries to buckle it for me," the woman said. "And then rubs his face against my leg and tries to kiss and lick my leg."
The woman said she yelled at the man to get the attention of nearby shoppers as panic set in.
"I pull my foot back and I go, 'What are you doing?' And he goes, 'What did I do wrong?' I said, 'You're doing creepy stuff,'" the woman said.
By the time she reached Target security, the man had left the store.
A second woman reported similar activity from the man on the same day. Clackamas County sheriff's deputies also said the man returned the following day and harassed another woman in similar fashion.
Investigators hope surveillance photos will help identify the man accused of the harassment.
He is described as white and in his early 40s with brown hair and a thin build. Anyone with information is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
