Detroit- A Westland woman accused of accepting $150 for sex from Tom Athans, the husband of U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., is to be sentenced today on a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Alycia Martin, 21, is to appear before 52-4 District Judge William Bolle in Troy. She was originally charged with misdemeanor prostitution. She could face up to 90 days in jail.

The charges came after a Feb. 26 prostitution sting in Troy, where officers arrested Martin at a Residence Inn.

Athans, 47, was not charged in exchange for his assistance in the case.
