BOURNE, MA - from www.kptv.com - A teenage boy expecting a box of paintball supplies in the mail found a different type of package on his doorstep.

Inside of the box, 14-year-old Connor Whelihan of Massachusetts discovered he was sent Viagra, sexual enhancing oils, hormone sprays and a DVD for men only.

"At first I was laughing, I thought it was a random joke," said Whelihan. "Then I realized I seriously got sent something else completely different."

We're told with his mother's permission, Whelihan originally ordered a new barrel for his paintball gun weeks ago, on a popular website called Paintball-Online.com. The Vancouver-based company says they are shocked something like this could have happened when they don't even sell any of the products the customer received.

"We've been in business 16 years, and we've never had a mistake like this anywhere," said Paintball-Online.com President Adam Steites.

Steites says the mix-up in shipping happened at their distribution center in Tennessee. He says that particular center deals with dozens of different companies and ships up to 10,000 packages a day with a 99.9 percent accuracy rate.

In this case, it's the tiny .01 percent that's causing the rather big problem for the Whelihan's.

"This is a 14-year-old boy and he got Viagra in the mail? Come on, that's not right," said Whelihan's mother.

Steites says he spoke with the family over the phone Thursday to apologize and offer the Whelihan's a full refund. The Whelihan's accepted the refund but canceled their order.

"You know we screwed up," said Steites. "It was the contractor who did the fulfillment for us, and we hired that contractor. We're not blaming anyone else, we're just sorry that it happened. It's embarrassing."
