am also told that because Chambliss and Weiner remain friends, several months ago Chambliss arranged for NOOF to grab Red Light before Hustler carried them aboard … but then Postlewaith and Weiner fell all over each other with conflicting proposals, and drove a distrusting David Joseph into Hustler’s waiting arms.

and these two clowns are supposedly in charge of getting new content for NOOF.

as i mentioned in an earlier post, Sumner Redstone, who’s a pretty savvy guy, states that “Content is everything”, and from what i’ve heard, Chambliss brought in all the heavies which NOOF used to topple Playboy – Hustler, Red Light, Michael Ninn, Ultimate Pictures, Adam & Eve, Erotic Media, Sin City, as well as his own Simon Wolf Productions. and he also created a programming strategy buried all of Playboy’s channels.

is interesting that with the exception of Erotic Media, every one of the above studios have now left NOOF and formed into two groups to compete against it … and word on the street is that Erotic Media (owned by European giant Beate-Uhse) is getting ready to sue NOOF for contract breach.

(has anyone looked at the garbage that NOOF is now showing?)

btw, am told that after Chambliss departed NOOF, Weiner was overheard telling Postlewaith that if NOOF got rid of Hustler, “Hustler TV will never get off the ground”. then a NOOF insider advised Hustler not to even bother submitting new programs to NOOF under their remaining contract, because Weiner would find a way to reject them. (this is a story told by Mark Hamilton, who served directly under Jim Kohls at Hustler.)

so much for Weiner’s insight. such a pity that he now surrounds himself with “yes men” interested only in partying and stuffing money into their own pockets.

so what’s the answer? actually, it’s simple. the people who own NOOF – THE STOCKHOLDERS – must bring in a new management team before it’s too late. for those of you who haven’t read, Hustler/Red Light has just gotten into Comcast, and HEAT On Demand is getting ready to launch with a stable of studios and mainstream cross-over stars that will bury every competitor out there.
