Miami- MIAMI BEACH Adult entertainment conventions are usually associated with cities such as Las Vegas, but this weekend Miami joins the raunchy club as the largest adult entertainment convention in the Eastern United States takes place in Miami Beach.

The EXXXOTICA convention claims to feature the biggest names in the pornography industry all under the roof of the Miami Beach Convention Center. Organizers have dubbed the event “A Celebration of Sexy”. Not only will they feature adult videos and novelties, but a showcase of erotic art, live entertainment and contests are all part of the show.

Some might wonder if South Beach, the bastion of excess, parties, skin and other worldly pleasures is ready for such an event, but CBS4 Reporter Dave Malkoff didn’t find much commotion at Friday, other than some willing attendees inside.

For those who follow the porn world closely, they’ll probably be glad to hear that adult celebrities such as Tera Patrick, Ron Jeremy, Nikki Benz and Nadia Styles have committed to make appearances.

The 18 and older show runs through Sunday.
