LOS ANGELES, CA — The fourth annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Awards Show is quickly drawing near, and once again, the fans are coming out in droves to vote on their favorites in the adult world as over 100,000 votes have been cast in this year’s contest.
Until midnight (P.T.) on Friday, June 12, fans can vote at www.thefameawards.com to make their choices in 15 sexy categories. The winners will be announced as part of a star-studded event hosted by adult superstar Stormy Daniels on June 13, 2009 at 9 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center as part of Erotica LA.
The evening will begin with a red carpet entrance to F.A.M.E.’s VIP seating area beginning at 7:45 p.m. The red carpet will be open until 8:45 and will feature the biggest names in adult walking as photographers from around the world try to capture them on one of the biggest nights of the year for the industry.
The F.A.M.E. Awards would like to encourage all nominees and stars to be at the red carpet at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday to assure VIP seating. Stars not already appearing at Erotica LA who would like to attend the F.A.M.E. Awards, please email [email protected] to get on the VIP list for entrance into Erotica LA. You may then pick up your wristbands at the VIP admission desk at the Convention Center. The F.A.M.E. Awards were created in 2006 by industry leaders Genesis Magazine www.genesismagazine.com, Adam & Eve www.adameve.com, WantedList.com and AVN.com as a way for fans to honor their favorite adult film stars, directors, movies and companies. This year’s show is also being sponsored by HotMovies.com, Twistys.com who are presenting their “Treat of the Year” live on stage, and this year’s broadcast partners, FreeOnes.com. The F.A.M.E. Awards is the first show where the fans take part in the entire process —from choosing the finalists to ultimately selecting the winners in over a dozen categories.
