WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (CBS) After being destroyed by a fire in December, The Body Shop is set to reopen Thursday night after going under a million-dollar renovation.

Salah Almudarris, who owns the establishment, said the club’s reopening would create jobs for about 20 staff and as many as 500 of what he terms “independent contractors.”

Almudarris said about 50 women will work each night and they could earn upward of $1,000 each.

The notorious landmark on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip was gutted by an electrical fire.

The club was previously featured in a song by the rock band Motley Crue.

Celebrities like Demi Moore reportedly studied at the club for a role as a stripper and number of stars are said to be regular customers.
