That party wasn’t thrown by Playboy, it was thrown by a group of people who rented the facility, as you might for a wedding or bar mitzvah.
The only Playboy involvement was that Playboy Radio, where Nicki works sometimes, decided to broadcast the event to its 3 million listeners in an effort to raise more money. And of course Playboy Radio covered its own costs for the event.
