PORTLAND, Ore. – from www.katu.com – A man accused of fondling the legs and feet of female shoe shoppers is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Steven George Bronson faces charges of sex abuse in connection with incidents at stores in Clackamas County and in Medford where women reported strange encounters with him. Police say in one instance a woman reported that Bronson licked her upper thigh.

In an interview with KATU in August, Bronson claimed his innocence, saying that asking women to try on shoes is not a crime.
