from www.examiner.com - A former Playboy model showed up at the Oklahoma City airport security checkpoint this week wearing nothing but her bra and panties and it was caught on video for YouTube.
Tammy Banovac, a University of Oklahoma graduate, said she feels it is necessary to wear nothing but her bra and panties since the airport security checkpoints have become more invasive in their search techniques recently.
Banovac told The Oklahoman she was “violated” during a pat down three weeks ago and regularly strips down to her bra and panties now to avoid the compromising experience again.
Recent YouTube footage showed a young girl being roughly groped by airport security. Questions have risen about the need for such intrusive pat downs by airport security, in some cases nearing the boundaries of molestation.
Banovac said she thinks it makes it easier on her, and airport security, because the parts of her body the guards want to hand-search are visible when she wears only underwear.
Bonovac was featured in the pages of Playboy magazine in 1997 when they had a spread of the “women of the dental profession.” Bonovac has since lost her medical license when a young boy died after she removed nine of his teeth.
Board members concluded Banovac made false sworn statements during the investigation and that she was negligent and guilty of gross malpractice in the way she treated a “medically compromised patient.”
Despite wearing only a bra and panties, she was still stopped for inspection and denied boarding because airport security detected traces of nitrates on her luggage. When she passed through a second time on Wednesday, once again in bra and panties, she was allowed access to her flight.
Banovac only strips down prior to the checkpoint and then puts her clothes back on before taking the flight.
