BOISE – The trial resumed today for a Boise strip club owner charged with four counts of taking earnings from a prostitute.

This the second time Christopher Teague has gone to trial after his first jury could not reach a conclusive verdict last month.

Opening arguments got underway Tuesday.

Two former employees, both escorts, took the stand for the state.

These women are two of four that filed charges against the strip club owner.

"I told him that I wanted my job back, that I didn't want to be an escort, I did want to be a dancer," said Tiffany, former escort.

Back in May, the women took the stand in disguises. That’s not being allowed in this trial as the former escorts testified in regular street clothes.

For nearly five hours, the two women described their duties while working for Teague.

One of the women dramatically changed her testimony from the previous trial.

Chris Teague is charged with four counts of taking earnings from a prostitute.

She previously testified that she was paid for sex and that Teague knew about it. However, today she told the court that Teague never asked her to perform sexual favors as part of her job.

Police still contend that Teague, who owns and operates Erotic City and Night Moves, also operated a separate escort service, AAA Anytime that was a front for a prostitution ring.

The jury is made up of seven men and six women, with one serving as an alternate.

The trial will resume on Thursday when jurors will be back at the Ada County Courthouse at 9 a.m.
