It’s being reported that Salaff has been freed from prison after he was arrested on Jan. 23. Salaff at the time was working on a project for Devil’s Films.

Salaff in a statement noted that while he’s been freed his case isn’t totally closed. “I am sort of shell shocked because the prison experience is beyond imaginable in Panama,” Salaff writes.

Salaff is currently on countrywide house arrest, free to travel anywhere in Panama but must sign in at the prosecutor’s office every Friday. His associate, Stefano Simne, was released under the same provision.

Salaff along with Stefano Simne was arrested in a police raid on Salaff’s home, which at the time was being used as a location for the shoot.

Although there is a 10 ft. high wall surrounding his house, Salaff was charged with corruption of a minor by failing to take measures to keep minors away from watching the shoot, as well as using prostitutes in the production. Salaff was also charged with neglecting to file proper paperwork to film an adult movie. Except for the charges involving minors, all the others were dropped after they had proven to be false. Salaff has been saying all along that he’s been the target of a corrupt prosecutor who was later arrested on charges unrelated to Salaff’s case and put in the same prison as Salaff.
