So here are five more movies from 2009 that I think are notable for one reason or another — be it an interesting controversy, great dialogue, clever story or just a really hot fuck.

Good sci-fi porn is hard to pull off, but with Raging Stallion behind it, The Visitor manages that unusual feat. Out-of-this-world-hot Logan McCree comes to Earth with a mission to study human sexuality — and just happens to land in San Francisco’s Castro district. Watch for an in-depth review in the New Year.

Private Party 1–3 (RVDfilms.com)

Robert Van Damme [pictured left] used to be a big-name hockey star in his native Czech Republic. But he discovered he enjoyed his new job a lot more than he expected. The beautiful muscleman finally bottomed on screen in this rapid-release trilogy, a good old-fashioned mystery tale. But Luke Riley turning from twink to bear? Do not want.

Men of Israel (lucasentertainment.com)

Love him or loathe him, Michael Lucas sure knows how to grab headlines. A big pro-Israel activist, he showcased that country’s comparative gay-friendliness with some of the most stunningly beautiful men on the planet screwing in the Jerusalem countryside. The blogosphere went wild.

Red Light / Blue Movie / Green Door (mustangstudios.com)

Falcon’s dirty older cousin Mustang gave performer Steve Cruz a camera and a budget and let him go. The result was another trilogy — this time a series of colour-themed fuckfests taking us from classic porn to streetwalkers to sex clubs. They also feature gaydom’s answer to Chuck Norris: Zak Spears.

Blind Date (chocolatecreamfactory.com)

I knew there were some hot Blatino guys in New York, but damn. Blind Date is a cheap and basic production, but when this movie gets down to business, it’s good business. These are black men who love dick and balls and ass. They’ve got slammin’ bodies and huge fat cocks and they are ready to fuck.

And of course, more than ever in 2009, straight-to-web content really began to challenge the established studios in quality, popularity and fuck-off-gorgeous new talent.
