[www.nowmagazine.co.uk]- Danielle Lloyd has launched legal action against the Carphone Warehouse.
The glamour model claims an employee [a slumdog towel head named Deepak Jagpal] tried to sell pictures downloaded from her mobile to five newspapers in March 2008.
It’s alleged a man took copies of the photos after the 25-year-old bought a new phone, and asked for data from her old mobile to be transferred.
‘The download of customer content is entirely unacceptable and we can confirm that this content was not published,’ reads a statement from Carphone Warehouse.
‘When the matter was brought to our attention we immediately conducted an investigation and the employee is no longer working within the business.
‘Their actions are not indicative of our usual standard of service and we absolutely apologise to Ms Lloyd.’
Danielle’s lawyer told the Daily Mail she was ‘astonished’ the company had said sorry, and that she’d been ‘seeking an apology for over a year’.
