from www.nydailynews.com – A bit actor in the hit film “The Hangover” has been arrested on charges that he raped a “sensual body” masseuse after pretending he was a police officer.
Douglas Brian Irvin Jr., 32, was taken into custody on Thursday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The Sin City resident -who played a VIP hotel guest in the comedy — responded to an ad for a massage on backpage.com on May 15 under the
section “Las Vegas Body Rubs.”
The woman, who went by Isabella, met him at Hooters Casino, according to the police report.
Irvin described himself to the masseuse as a wealthy plastic surgeon and immediately tried to have sex with her, which she refused. But he
eventually convinced the woman in exchange for $10,000 and on the condition that he would wear a condom.
The actor then said he’d go downstairs to get a condom, but proceeded to pull out a picture ID from his wallet that said he was as a cop. Irvin
convinced the woman he was a vice detective and she could get into big trouble, the report said.
She agreed to have sex with him out of fear that she’d be arrested.
Irvin then went downstairs and told the woman to not leave the room because other officers were watching it. He never came back, according
to the report.
When he was questioned by authorities, Irvin changed his story several times, police told CBS affiliate KPHO. He eventually admitted to having sex with the woman but insisted it was consensual.
The fake police ID was found in his wallet.
Irvin has experience playing an officer. He played a cop on the television crime series CSI earlier this year, according to his profile on IMDB. He’s also made several appearances on the hospital drama ER.
He faces a slew of charges, including impersonating an officer and five counts of sexual assault.
