LONDON — The Tanya Hyde-directed title “Sex Maniax” is not only Harmony Films’ latest, it’s also the 50th movie the company will offer for sale in the six year history of the acclaimed adult studio.
Since it began producing movies in 2002, Harmony Films built a solid following among fans and critics for titles that combined hardcore with its directors unique vision. Gazzman, a celebrated director before his association with Harmony Films, brought the eye of big budget features to his movies. Each new volume of “Fuck Me” and “Young Harlots” met with glowing praise from the adult press and a ready audience among the fans. The direction of “Slam It!” — another line from Gazzman — was recently given to the company’s latest addition, Dave West.
Like Gazzman, Tanya Hyde also won trophies around the globe. Hyde’s movies made their mark for keeping the sex scenes hot while playing to the S/m and BDSM sensibilities of London’s fetish underground. “Deviant,” “House of Shame,” and “Underworld” showcased the gifted director’s vision of carnal debauchery that is hardcore and sensual, once Hyde made Harmony Films home.
Hyde’s latest creation, “Sex Maniax,” stars Ree Petra, Bobbi Starr, Claudia Rossi, Mai Bailey, Megane Doll, Stella Delcroix and Zafira, as well as Clark Kent, Deke, Jay R and Jazz Duro in a kink-filled romp complete with suspension, latex and the fulfillment of dark decadent desires.
