Sexual wellness brand Hello Nancy introduced its limited-edition Tennis Collection at the U.S. Open, which took place through last week at Flushing Meadows in New York. The collection, featuring two new products, gained viral attention after a U.S. Open fan mistook one of the items for a special-edition tennis ball.

Collection Launch and Campaign

The Tennis Collection includes the Ace Air Suction Massager and the Smash Wand Vibrator. Hello Nancy brought the collection to market with a campaign titled "Game. Set. O." This campaign incorporated social media marketing, a brunch event, and product seeding.

The Ace Air Suction Massager is designed for targeted clitoral stimulation, offering 12 intensity levels. It is available in green for $99, reduced from $199, and in pink for $119, reduced from $209. An additional 25 percent off is available using code ACE25. The Smash Wand Vibrator features a deep, rumbly motor and a flexible head, designed for broad stimulation. It is IPX7 waterproof. The Smash Wand Vibrator is priced at $129, reduced from $229, with an extra 25 percent off using code SMASH25. The collection is limited to 500 units.

Momo Kashiwabara, co-founder of Hello Nancy, stated that the brand aimed to create something playful, culturally relevant, and distinct from typical sexual wellness product launches. Kashiwabara noted that the U.S. Open provided a way to achieve this while expanding into the U.S. market. Kashiwabara also mentioned that Hello Nancy focuses on creating products and campaigns that challenge traditional presentations of sexual wellness, making pleasure more approachable and fun.

Viral Moment at the U.S. Open

The campaign garnered significant attention when a U.S. Open fan's experience went viral. The fan initially believed she had received a special-edition tennis ball at the match, which was actually Hello Nancy’s Ace Air Suction Massager, a tennis-ball-shaped vibrator. The fan posted about the discovery, stating, "They’re handing out these cute little special edition tennis balls at the US Open. ... So it turns out they’re actually tennis ball shaped vibrators from Nancy LOL."

This post was subsequently reshared across social media platforms and picked up by online press, contributing to a viral moment for Hello Nancy. Other U.S. Open attendees also reported spotting the tennis-themed products around the tournament grounds.

New York Launch Event

Following the U.S. Open introduction, Hello Nancy continued its New York launch with an exclusive brunch event in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. This event gathered 60 creators, media representatives, and sexual wellness professionals. Attendees participated in panel discussions and received a first look at the new Tennis Collection.

Hello Nancy is part of Care & Bloom, which also includes the brand Biird. Hello Nancy's Lem Clitoral Massager has sold over a million units since April 2023, with one Lem reportedly sold every 23 seconds.
