LAS VEGAS — from www.nypost.com – Former Hugh Hefner girlfriend Holly Madison has insured her surgically-enhanced breasts for $1 million.

Madison, 31, took out an insurance policy with Lloyd’s of London to protect her “primary money makers,” People magazine reported Thursday.

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, ‘Why not?’ If anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars,” the former “Girls Next Door” star said.

The busty blonde became one of Hefner’s girlfriends in 2001. She ascended to the role of his “number one girl” a year later and was a prominently featured on the E! reality show about his polyamorous love life.

But she split from the octogenarian in 2008 and moved to Las Vegas where she now appears topless in a burlesque display, “Peepshow,” at the Planet Hollywood in Sin City.

Madison has spoken openly about getting breast implants to enhance her career.

“I wanted to get my breasts done [but Hef] didn’t want me to do it,” she said in a 2006 interview when she was still dating the Playboy founder.

“That’s a decision I made on my part. I wanted boobs to match the booty,” she said.
