from www.muveez.com – Director Tom Hooper has said that even if he had known one of the scene locations for The King’s Speech had previously been used for a gay porn shoot, he still would have shot the scene there.

It was revealed last week that in addition to hosting The King’s Speech, London’s 33 Portland Place was also used for gay porn flick, Snookered.

Speaking to E! Online, the Oscar-winning director said, “Everyone seems to be ahead of me on this. But I mean, is it… is it literally… that room is literally..?”

However, he later went on to insist that even had he known, he wouldn’t have changed location, remarking, “It was the right set for me and it was the right set for them.”

On the back of his success with The King’s Speech, Hooper is believed to be interested in directing another historical drama, Tulip Fever, for his next project.
