WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA –Jason Sechrest is known for dishing the drama in his inner industry news/gossip blog “Jason’s News Desk” at JasonCurious.com.
Now he’s been tapped by Channel 1 Releasing to pen the first season of an eight-episode web exclusive soap opera that will air on C1R.com as part of their new weekly web content. The production began shooting last week in Los Angeles.
Details have yet to be released from C1R, but Sechrest along with one of the series stars Conner Habib leaked some info to the audience at Micky’s weekly “Cocktails with the Stars” event last Thursday in West Hollywood. The series is said to be very edgy, very dark and HABIB’s character is one of five series regulars who are involved in a twisted sex competition. CHI CHI LARUE has also been tweeting photos from the set via her account at www.Twitter.com/DJChiChiLaRue.
Additionally, Sechrest recently penned the screenplay for C1R’s new release “FUCK U,” the movie which sees Chi Chi LaRue channeling 80’s soap sensation Brenda Dickson as she welcomes viewers into her home for a hilarious study on how to make porn. The movie stars Brent Everett and is quickly becoming one of the best selling movies of the year from the studio.
These two projects also mark the first screenplays Sechrest has written in his twelve years working in the adult entertainment industry.
