Porn Valley- The Adam Carolla Show got off to a dreadful start as the Los Angeles radio replacement for Howard Stern on KLSX 97.1 But in recent weeks Carolla has been sparking up his show with very funny celebrity interviews. Thursday morning Jesse Jane was on board talking about the Pirates movie she was in. Jane said the film cost over a million dollars, and Carolla observed that pirate movies and porn were combining his two favorite elements, comparing it to Reese's peanut butter cups. And Carolla couldn't think of anything better than watching porn on a pirate ship while eating a peanut butter cup.
Considering her occupation and the potential of it, Carolla asked Jane if she ever gets a call from the Make a Wish Foundation. Jane said she hasn't and that a lot of organizations won't accept contributions if you're a porn star. Carolla was joking but Jane was being dead serious. Jane was on the show to promote her new Playboy Night Calls gig which airs 9pm Friday nights [PST].
Carolla said he was told that they were going to give away tickets to be on the show and wasn't aware that Night Calls had a live audience.
"I've seen that show several thousand times and never heard an audience on that show," Carolla said.
"It's an all-new set," Jane explained. "We have an audience- we have fans come on; we have stripper poles, dancers, porn stars." Envisioning a group of people sitting there with their hands tied not to make noise, Carolla asked how many people were in the audience. Jane said the first show went live a couple of weeks ago.
"There was a lot of people, " said Jane. "I don't even know because the whole studio was crowded. But I would say a good 80 to 100 people."
"You have to keep it under 99 for the equity waver," Carolla kidded. "It's a pretty tough union in this city." Carolla also asked Jane if having a live audience weirded her out.
"Nope, I love it," Jane said. "I'm not shy- I love people watching me in action. It's a turn on for me and I just have fun. I don't even really think the people are there. I just do my thing."
"Do you picture them in their underpants?" Carolla asked her.
"No, just totally naked," said Jane. She was asked if "wangs" ever make their presence known on the show.
"They give a little wave, a little salute," Jane laughed. Carolla mentioned that his own show has a foxy intern named Larissa. Jane thought Larissa was hot and Carolla said he was trying to size Larissa up.
"She's petite yet she has curves," he said. "You guys are cut out of the same cloth. You're petite women and have nice curves." Larissa was playing it up shy but Jane let some cats out of the bag.
"She cannot play shy," said Jane. "Her and I have been in many situations." Asked how they knew one another, Jane said Larissa's father does taxes for a lot of porn people. According to Jane, she met Larissa through a rock star friend of hers.
"She came to one of my live shows- she was scared to meet me, she was nervous," Jane continued. Larissa said she wanted to take a picture and everyone was taking their clothes off. Carolla wondered what kind of "show" this was.
"She works for Digital Playground," Larissa explained. "She did a Digital Playground live internet show every couple of weeks. Her and her other contract sister worked on the show. And I came and I met everyone around there and hung out with them." Jane explained that live people would call in and would ask them or their guests questions. Jane remembered that day as being one where they had "a bunch of hot chicks" on the show. "No dudes."
Jane said Larissa was very curious and she kept eyeing Larissa.
"She was embarrassed but she kept watching." Carolla compared it to a porn plot going back to Shakespeare.
"It's the novice who comes on and is intrigued, can't help it," he observed
Larissa agreed that it was intriguing.
Carolla also found it highly interesting that Larissa's father was doing accounting for porn stars. Larissa then painted a picture of her and Jane being in a room when her father walks in.
"She starts telling him about how she had intercourse with his clients and exactly what positions she was in and how her legs were," said Larissa. "And I'm sitting there with my dad. I was mortified."
Jane explained that she's an open person and she talks about anything in front of anybody. Carolla got the impression that Larissa and Jane were lovers.
"I'm going to say no for daddy reasons," said Larissa. "But we've had fun. We have hung out together. We have had many late nights of hanging out and going out."
Larissa said her father has floor to ceiling pictures in the office of him with porn stars. Carolla figured her parents would be divorced in such a situation and Larissa said, no. Carolla wondered if Larissa's mother had been one of the clients. Larissa said her mother moved from Ireland and Carolla imagined she must be drinking every night to forget. Larissa said her mother does well with the situation and that her father was always the cool dad.
"Her dad's hot," said Jane.
"Well, I wouldn't say THAT," Larissa replied, noting that she and Jane have had sleepovers as well but not in a sexual way. For her part, Jane said she's bisexual and has hung out with far more women than men. Jane said she's been with 14 guys. When Carolla suggested Jane as having a number of women going into the hundreds, Jane agreed. And Jane said she'll keep guys on rotation.
"I have really good lovers," she noted. "I never want to hop back into a relationship. I'm usually against that kind of stuff."
