Porn Valley- Joe Francis was a guest on the Adam Carolla Show Monday morning.

Referring to the late night infomercials for Girls Gone Wild, Carolla said while not spankable, they definitely kick start you. Francis said that's the intention. But it was also noted that there are some guys who can complete the mission with that alone, so it takes a special kind of perversity.

"Just the idea of girls flashing their boobs at the Mardi Gras- if that's enough as an adult man, there's something weird about you." That being said, Carolla wanted to be counted among the weirdos.

"You're talking to a guy who made do with a Sears catalogue," said Carolla. "As a child, we didn't have the Internet." Carolla said he'd wait for clouds to change into the form of boobs so he could whack off. Carolla wondered if Francis had any death threats or contact from irate fathers or over-protective boyfriends that saw their girlfriends or brides-to-be on tape and wanted a piece of him. Francis said it isn't the case, but the one call he ever had was from a father.

"The guy was surprisingly at the end of the call, if she did it, I guess that was her choice," said Francis. Then the father asked to be sent a free copy. Carolla assumed that Francis would be one step ahead of jealous boyfriends or irate fathers. To that Francis said it used to be cool to have your girlfriend in Playboy.

"Maybe ten or twenty years ago- now it's the cool thing to have your girlfriend in Girls Gone Wild," he said. "That's the badge of honor. As funny as that may seem." Carolla remembered doing Love Line about 8 or 10 years ago and having a conversation about the Banned from Television series.

"These late night commercials showing people getting run over by a commuter trains and eaten by alligators," Carolla added. "I said what kind of scumbag would profit off the misery of others?" Turned out, Francis who was attending USC at the time, was the scumbag.

Carolla thinks he talked to Francis at the time while Francis was attending USC.

"You said you were a USC student at the time," Carolla recollected.

"I remember hearing about it but I don't remember actually talking to you on the air about it," Francis replied. Carolla swore he spoke to Francis and that Francis was working on that project. Francis said that was the business plan for what Girls Gone Wild is now.

"You're a multi-millionaire now," said Carolla. "You're winging off all over the place in a private jet." Carolla wanted to know how Francis got started. According to Francis, during his junior-senior year he wrote a business plan for doing other videos.

"It was actually gambling videos," said Francis. "And that was pretty much the exact corporate structure, the business plan. It was just when the right idea came for doing the right videos. I just switched out the videos." Asked how he got the rights, Francis said those are the simplest to get.

"In the market place those clips had such little value because in the mainstream market place you can't put those on television," said Francis. "So there's no other market other than videos."

"So the woman being eviscerated by the commuter train- how much was that one?" Carolla wanted to know. "I thought whoever's putting this on TV is definitely going to hell as it turns out he was going to Bermuda in a private jet. You see how there's no God, by the way?" Francis dodged the question about where he found that particular video.

"Through various sources," he said. "All the news organizations sell clips and footage." Francis said he did basically well with that video but that the seed money for Girls Gone Wild was his personal credit cards. Carolla brought up the issue of model releases, one which has been thorny for Francis.

"How does this work legally?"

"Legally it is a documentary and that has been affirmed by the Florida Supreme Court," Francis answered. "We had all that litigation and we won all those lawsuits."

"Shocker that it's out of Florida," Carolla mused. "Supreme Court- those guys are wearing flip-flops with their nut sac hanging out of their OP's."

"Our policy is to have signed releases and on-camera releases, and ID's and all those other things that we're not required to have by law," Francis added, noting that he was glad to be out of the death business and into the sex business.

"It's so much more fun."

A caller-in said she saw his cousin flashing her boobies on the screen in one of Francis' videos, but she denied it.

"Was it exciting to see your cousin or was it weird?" Carolla asked him. The guy said he just wanted to thank Francis for giving him one of the most awkward experiences of his life.

Another caller-in took Francis to task for the Guys Gone Wild series.

"I didn't actually sit there and produce it," Francis protested. "I felt I had to be an equal opportunity exploiter." Theresa the news girl on the show expected that Francis would look "pervy" but instead was "a matinee idol of a man." Carolla described Francis as David Schwimmer meets Peter North.

Asked a delicate question about his lawsuits, Francis tossed it off by saying most of them have been resolved.

"ET's got about 112 lawsuits, we've got about 10," he said, claiming that all the girls have signed releases and that he's won all the cases. Perez Hilton pointed out that there was a lawsuit involving Paris Hilton.

"You're talking about a long time ago when I got kidnapped," said Francis. "Some guy [Darnell Riley] came in my house with a gun and they put him away. He's in jail for eleven years now." Carolla seemed to know nothing about the case in which Francis was forced at gunpoint to stick a sex toy up his ass.

Perez Hilton thought that case was still going on. Francis said it was over but he was urged to continue with the story.

"This is years ago," Francis continued. "Some guy [Riley] comes out of my kitchen with a gun- he points it to my head, ties me up, kidnaps me, puts me in the back of my Bentley, drives me down the hill and leaves me there. He robbed my house, took a whole bunch of stuff and then he ended up pleading guilty to all these counts."

"Correct me if I'm wrong," stated Hilton. "But after that incident wasn't he blackmailing you?"

"Absolutely," said Francis. "He was blackmailing me for money. But he couldn't because he didn't have anything to blackmail me with. He had threatened this tape which he made. It was baloney. It had nothing on it. It had me saying that I was gay. Something so ridiculous I wouldn't even care about. I'm basically on these tapes. When they played these tapes in court I'm basically saying come get me because I don't care. Or release the tape, I don't care."

Hilton said it was more graphic than the way Francis was trying to make it sound. Francis said he would show the tape to anyone.

"It's public information- you can find it on the Internet."

Francis says the tape exists but everyone seems to think there's something more than there is on there. According to Francis you can find it online and it's not what it's hyped up to be.

"Perez I'm sure your fantasy is me being banged in the ass by some dude," Francis stated.

Hilton said he heard it was an "instrument." Francis said with a gun to his head he would have taken it in the ass but such was not the case.

"I probably would have taken anything in the ass to live," said Francis. "But I didn't. But I would have."

Carolla said he would have been in therapy had that happened to him.

"It's one thing if you work in a manure farm and you come home and a guy pulls a gun on you. What do you lose- a pickup truck and 29 grand a year. But you're losing Lear jets and a lifestyle that's oh my God. Do not take me."

Francis admitted that he was totally freaked out and that it was Paris Hilton who gave him the name of Riley, though he didn't mention Riley by name. http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=14516

"It was the same guy that robbed her and that led to his arrest and the ultimate conviction," said Francis. "He pleaded guilty to all of the crimes."

Carolla thought it odd that Riley was only getting 11 years if kidnapping was involved as Francis stated. Francis predicted Riley was going to be in jail a lot longer.

"He had already been in jail for double-murder," he said. "He had killed two Korean shop keepers at point blank range as a juvenile. Then he got out of prison then he comes and does this to me and robbed a string of people in Hollywood."
