Los Angeles- SO, Joe Buttafuoco’s in the midst of another girlfriend mess. Ex-wife Mary Jo is threatening to sue. The saga, per a sheaf of legal papers in my hand:

July 18 remarried Mary Jo writes Buttafuoco’s fiancée, Evanka Franjiko, in part: “I’ve left three messages and no response from you. According to divorce papers, support monies are to be paid me the first and 15th of each month. You are in contempt of a court order. I told you I would contact my lawyer. Today’s the 18th and still no check.

“You leave me no choice but to proceed with legal action and everything will be billed to Joe. He will be responsible for all attorney and legal fees. I am also considering forcing a sale on Joe’s house, which my attorney advised since I have a large vested interest in it.

“You’re putting Joe’s investment in jeopardy.” (Buttafuoco’s in the can. Court-appointed Evanka is in charge of his affairs.) “He will end up with nothing.

“Take care of this immediately or the next correspondence will be from my attorney.”

July 27 fiancée Evanka’s method of taking care of this was to get an L.A. Superior Court judge to issue a “stay-away” order. States her affidavit: “Defendant has harassed me with phone calls and e-mails for four months . . . calling the house about alimony payments – while her ex-husband is incarcerated since March – which I have no obligation to do. Defendant has been advised by her ex-husband’s attorney to cease and desist. Defendant also got her daughter to e-mail me every day. Defendant’s messages said ‘This is bulls- – -.’ . . . She threatens to make me homeless by selling the house.”

Mary Jo Buttafuoco Connery’s messages also said: “I have one Amy Fisher in my life. I don’t need another one.”
