Marietta, Georgia- Zulia Perez got a nasty surprise when she sent her daughter to the mailbox Tuesday afternoon.

The 8-year-old Marietta girl came back with a video cassette with a porn cover.

Perez, 29, said she saw an adolescent boy and girl put something in her mailbox. She sent her daughter, Lorena Abigail Luna, to get it.

The cover showed “everything,” Perez said.

It showed so much that her daughter told her “that’s ugly Mommy. It’s not good for the kids.”

Perez, who called Marietta police, said the children live in the neighborhood.

“Perhaps, it was a prank,” said Perez, a mother of four. “I’m desperate to talk to their parents. Maybe, they need more attention or a baby sitter.”

Officer Mark Bishop, a Marietta police spokesman, said there was nothing on the video. An officer caught the 13-year-old boy. The teen told the officer he put the cassette in the mailbox on a dare. He wasn’t taken into custody.

Chalk it up to a prank on a hot June afternoon.

Still, Perez looked up and down Toliver Street. It’s usually quiet, she said.

“It’s the first time somebody dropped that stuff in the mailbox. It’s kind of freaky because you’ve got all the neighbors who have younger kids.”
