CHATSWORTH, Calif — [Tod Hunter writes on www.xbiz.com ]: Adult performer Kiki Daire, who had retired after a career that ran from 1999-2006, is preparing to return to performing in adult.
"It's been a long time, and I'm just waiting on getting some good pictures so Kevin at Type 9 Models can get me up and running," Daire told XBIZ.
Daire left adult in 2006 to get married, "but that didn't happen," and was living in New Orleans when she decided to return to performing.
"Trying to live in the civilian world when you're a recognizable name — I'm not Jenna Jameson, but I'm recognizable enough — and as wonderful a place as New Orleans is, dealing with people who have a Southern attitude can get pretty hairy. They're either completely fascinated and laugh at you behind your back, or they're openly repulsed to your face. It's not the easiest road."
Daire has been in college during her hiatus.
"I'm graduating from college in a few months. I'm not just a pornchick. I'm not just a fetish chick. somebody's sister, I'm somebody's daughter. I'm a real person, not just a robot."
"I've downsized my boobs, so I look more natural. Everybody's told me I look great, they were afraid I had gained weight. My ass is still big, my boobs are just a little bit smaller, but still huge. I went from 36F to 36D, and they're silicone now, so they're really soft. I'm really happy about that.
"Somebody's got to be the first one to book you, and once somebody does, it'll build up from there. My calendar is filling up with social contacts, at least."
