LOS ANGELES, CA – The Hollywood stop in the publicity tour for Wicked Pictures’ hit paranormal thriller SUPERNATURAL wasn’t your typical press junket. While there was indeed the standard Q&A about the critically acclaimed movie with star KIRSTEN PRICE and director MICHAEL RAVEN, members of the press were also treated to a day of authentic field investigation into the unknown courtesy of Dr. Larry Montz, the respected founder of the International Society For Paranormal Research (ISPR).
Raven, Price, Dr. Montz, paranormal investigator Daena Smoller, and SUPERNATURAL co-star Barrett Blade led reporters on a trip through various ISPR-validated paranormal locations throughout Hollywood, before concluding their journey with a field exploration of the Comedy Store in West Hollywood.
Due in no small part to its early days as an infamous Mafia-run nightclub, the Comedy Store proved to be an actively haunted property, with the team documenting the presence of at least four supernatural entities.
A trailblazing explorer of the otherworldy whose work has been chronicled in everything from PREMIERE magazine to the TODAY SHOW, Dr. Montz has spent the last thirty five years creating and implementing innovative new ways to study the paranormal. He is credited with validating the most innovative techniques in parapsychological field work. Regarding the June 2nd project with Wicked’s SUPERNATURAL team, he views the day as a complete success, observing that the Comedy Store proved to be “a very lively property. There were definitely several distinct personalities present.”
For 2007 AVN award winner Kirsten Price, this high profile excursion into the paranormal was just one of the latest stops in a career that can aptly be described as moving at promotional and artistic light-speed. She followed her ghostly encounters by hosting a heavily promoted webcast with rock legends POISON at Capitol Records’ world-famous Studio A as they performed tracks from their new album POISON’D.
For Wicked Pictures, she’s completed the ambitious features COMING HOME, OFF THE AIR, and CRESCENDO 2012. In the realm of cable television, she recently shot a guest spot playing herself on the popular Showtime series WEEDS, and will soon be seen nationally as the host of the upcoming iN DEMAND Pay Per View special AMERICA’S NEXT HOT PORN STAR. And for lucky fans in the Southeast, she’ll be feature dancing tonight through the 17th at the Escapades Gentlemen’s Club (3650 Fowler Street, Ft. Myers, Florida).
