With what will be the biggest blockbuster so far in adult movie history, Digital Playground’s “Pirates 2: Stagnetti’s Revenge” recently premiered here in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theater in Downtown LA. The movie has everything, including some of the hottest performances this year. But many will be talking about the women and their performances, and I think we need to throw some kudos to the male talent in this film. The guys need their props, and that’s just what we want to do.
Tommy Gunn [pictured] turns in another great performance as the evil Stagnetti, raised from the dead by the enchanting and evil character played by Katsumi. Tommy has a three way performance with Jesse Jane and Katsumi that pretty intense. Tommy has come along way as an actor, and it shows.
Evan Stone is perfect as always as the Pirate hunter. Mixing a blend of humor, and machoism, and sex appeal. The ladies love him, and the men all want to be him. Evan has some great sex scenes, including a three way, and an incredible scene with the always lovely Jenna Haze. Evan is one of those actors in adult who always raises the bar, and always stands out in whatever he’s doing, but in this sequel he’s especially shining, and showing a broad acting and performing range. Check out his scene with Belldonna where he’s hanging from the rafters while Belldonna’s blowing him, smoking!
Ben English is perfectly cast as the Governor. Ben worked on his acting skills before starting this project and it shows, adding a nice comedic touch to his portrayal. English also has a great three way scene as well. We’re looking forward to seeing more feature work from English.
Steven St. Croix really steals the movie this time, reprising his role from the original film. Steven has a perfect blend of comedic timing and sex scenes, and should be walking away with an armful of awards come award seasons. Steven has a great career ahead of him should he decide to move full time into mainstream, and since many adult stars are making that transition now, we hope to see Steven do the same. Steven has two great sex scenes as well, a scene with the super sexy Shay Jordan, and a three way with Shay Jordan and Jesse James, you lucky bastard!
Other male cast members we want to acknowledge special kudos to include; Mick Blue, Charles Dera, James Deen, Miguel Ferrera, and Marcos Banderas. All the guys turned in good performances.
Cast member Mick Blue who performed a three way scene with the lovely Shay Jordan and James Deen had this to say about the production; “It was a great experience for me to work for Digital Playground on Pirates 2. I have never been on a huge set like this. It was really impressive to see how they built the pirate ship in a sound studio. Everybody was very focused on the project.”
