LA Direct’s Version of Jayme Langford Events; Langford Now Trying to Evade Kill Fees?

I received the following from LA Direct Models: The following is a statement of fact from LA Direct Models in reference to Jayme Langford.

On or about September 24, 2008 Jayme Langford called LA Direct Models’ office asked for and received an appointment on September 25, 2008 to discuss representation in the adult entertainment industry

On September 25, 2008 Jayme Langford freely signed a 1 (one) year exclusive representation contract with LA Direct Models for work in the adult entertainment industry.

In the month of October, 2008 Jayme Langford was booked for and accepted 9 (nine) jobs, out of which she completed 8 (eight) and cancelled 1 (one) shoot.

In the month of November, 2008 Jayme Langford was booked for and accepted 7 (seven) jobs and completed 3 (three). Cancelling 4 (four) shoots. Each of the cancellations was made on the morning of the scheduled shoot.

Standard industry kill fees were demanded by the relevant producers for the same day cancellations made by Jayme.

On November 3, 2008 Jayme Langford claims she sent a text message to Derek Hay, owner of LA Direct Models, asking that Direct Models no longer book work for her. Derek Hay states, he received no such text. After that date Jayme Langford accepted 2 (two) more bookings from the agents at Direct Models.

On November 11, 2008 Jayme Langford came to LA Direct Models’ office to discuss her leaving the agency with Derek Hay. Derek was out of the office and Bud Lee took the meeting.

In that meeting Jayme Langford agreed with Bud Lee that it was to her best interest to complete 3 (three) jobs that were currently on the calendar and a moratorium was placed on any future bookings, until she could meet and discuss her concerns with Derek Hay The jobs booked included the shoot with D Cypher and Adam & Eve on November 18, 2008. Of those jobs booked and agreed to be completed, Jayme completed 1 (one) and cancelled, on the day of the jobs, the other 2 (two), including the much published and disputed D.Cypher/Adam & Eve shoot.

Direct Models believes that Jayme is attempting to leave the agency, that she is under contract to, in an attempt to discharge and avoid the kill fees she has accrued to the producers on whom she has cancelled

These are the facts.
