from www.nydailynews.com – The man charged with pimping a 16-year-old Bronx girl to Lawrence Taylor pleaded guilty Tuesday and agreed to forfeit the $300 the football great paid him.

Rasheed Davis, 37, admitted he knew the girl was under 18 when he brought her from the Bronx to Rockland County to have illegal sex in a Holiday Inn.

“I knew what I was doing was against the law,” Davis told Manhattan Federal Court Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald. “It was my intent to seek some financial gain.”

The high school dropout won’t get the same sweetheart deal as his Hall-of-Fame client, who as sentenced to probation earlier this month.

Instead, Davis faces a likely sentence of between 7 and 8 ¾ years in federal prison, though his lawyer said he’ll seek a lower penalty.

“I really don’t want him unreasonably punished,” defense lawyer Xavier Donaldson said after the brief hearing.

As part of the deal, Davis also agreed to forfeit the 1999 Mercedes Benz he used to bring the girl to Taylor, and the $300 fee he received from the one-time defensive great.

Donaldson refused to speculate on whether Davis knew Taylor.

While L.T. spent a good part of his adult life pounding quarterbacks and offensive linemen and helping the Giants to two Super Bowl titles in 1987 and 1991, Davis spent most of his adulthood serving a prison sentence for manslaughter.

One thing the ex-con and the ex-linebacker will soon have in common: They’ll both be registered sex offenders.
