Philadelphia- A man accused of killing a Canadian porn actress during a bondage photo session has parted ways with his attorney.
Anthony Frederick, 47, is charged with first- and third-degree murder in the stabbing death of Natel King, 23, who went by the stage name Taylor Sumers.
Frederick's attorney, Daniel Paul-Alva, cited unspecified "irreconcilable differences" and asked to withdraw from the case. Montgomery County Judge William Nicholas agreed to the request and assigned former county solicitor Richard Winters to replace him.
Nicholas postponed Frederick's trial, which had been scheduled for Dec. 13, but set no new date. Winters said Monday that he expected the trial to begin in February.
King, of the Toronto area, disappeared Feb. 29 after posing for Frederick in Conshohocken in a hard-core bondage shoot that had been arranged over the Internet, authorities said. Nearly a month later, authorities found her naked and slashed body, stabbed at least six times, with bondage devices still on it.
Frederick has pleaded not guilty.
