Florida- The Lingerie Bowl is off. So to speak.

The pay-per-view alternative halftime entertainment has been canceled for the second straight year.

The problems started when neighbors complained about it being held at a Tampa vacant lot, so organizers moved it to an area upscale clothing-optional resort.

Until resort management objected to certain areas of the facility being subjected to a dress code: clothing. That was a deal-breaker, so game over.

Also, some players had quit earlier because of the new venue. Skimpy outfits are one thing, but they feared they would be playing in front of naked spectators, or have to play naked themselves.

Some who complained were fired by the league for "a lack of dedication."

"I don't have anything against the lifestyle," Tampa Breeze quarterback/model Reby Sky [pictured] told the St. Petersburg Times.

"But we as players were having a hard enough time dealing with and defending against the negative stigmas and stereotypes associated with the sport and playing attire before it was announced we would be playing at a nudist resort."
