from www.telegraph.com.au - The Oscar-nominated actress will star in an indie film Hysteria, billed as a romantic comedy set in Victorian London about the invention of the women's sex aid, a vibrator, Variety reports.
Maggie Gyllenhaal, 32, who rose to fame in the 2002 S&M love story, Secretary and most recently appeared in Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang, will play the daughter of a doctor, who, with his young colleague (Hugh Dancy) treats cases of female hysteria ... with a new electrical sex aid, according to Variety.
Rupert Everett has also signed on for the film, with Jonathan Pryce and Ashley Jensen also rumoured to have agreed to appear.
