Magnus and I entered into an agreement on or about June 15th. The deal was simple, I get 10% of gross receipts and 10% of the company after I am there 6 months.
Magnus owner Boris Zingerman asked me to become Keeper of Records as they had other business interests and did not want their other adult studio Damaged to be aware of this busines. I agreed based on the fact I was to become a partner and Mr Zingerman was telling me it was part of the deal. As I wanted the opportunity and needed a contract I accepted.
Since then Magnus has released over 20 movies, has numerous consumer web sites under the umbrella of another company, Cartel Cash and of course the www.magnusxxx.com site.
I have been forced to notify the FBI, Special Agent in Charge Stephen Lawrence in regard to the compliance matter. Being listed as keeper of records when you don't have the records is a very serious violation and Magnus , regardless of my repeated demands continued to put me in harms way while enjoying the benefits of my sales efforts.
I never thought that asking for the records would be an issue, but I have asked for the records numerous times and did not receive them. I pressed the issue over and over again, and no matter what I said Magnus continued to release movies with incorrect 2257 Information. In fact on their web sites they are using both my home address and a hybrid of my home address which is a invalid 'does not exist" address.
It finally came to a head, and the owner and I had a heated exchange and he fired me. All over trying to cover his ass. He also refuses to pay commissions owed and severance. Magnus owners always talk about the value of family, as long as it is theirs I guess. Printing DVD Sleeves in your print shop and putting on the address of another person, with children is negligent.
For the record I am extremely sad over these events, I am left owed a large sum of money, my wife is very ill and my relationship with Mr Zingerman's son is now lost. he is a wonderful young man and once out of his fathers shadow will do very well.
Therefore please be advised that all 2257 on Magnus titles is incorrect. Please contact your legal department for instructions. I am sure that Magnus would be happy to exchange these titles or take them back for a refund. it is your call. Also be advised that putting "stickers" over my name and address in not acceptable and Magnus has been informed of this as well.
