Troy, NY- Around 7pm Saturday night, a man entered Amazing.net Adult Video Center at 516 River St. He put on a rubber Halloween mask and pulled out a small black handgun which a witness believed to be a revolver.

He demanded money from a store employee, who was fixing a light at the time. Apparently believing the man to be a prankster, the employee continued with what he was doing and ignored the gunman.

After a customer in the store told the gunman he had no money, he then demanded that the employee open the register. The 20-year-old clerk, evidently still unfazed, told the suspect there was no money in the drawer and began to stock products.

The customer announced he needed to use the bathroom and locked the bathroom door behind him.

The would-be robber then fled the store with nothing.

The man was described as a black male, roughly 6 feet tall, wearing a black coat with possible spots of paint.

Another customer said he saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot around the time of the incident — an older green SUV, with two passengers but no driver.
