Minneapolis-St. Paul A 40-year-old man is accused of coercing four girls to participate in the production of pornography over a three-year period at his St. Paul Park home.

Jose A. Soto, now imprisoned in Texas, was charged Wednesday in federal court in Minneapolis on 17 counts involving videotaped sex acts.

The recordings were made at his home in the 800 block of 3rd Street from 2004 to 2007, according to the indictment.

Soto is serving a 10-year prison term in Texas for possessing child pornography. If convicted in Minnesota, each charge carries a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison.
