Virginia- from www.citizensvoice.com – Convicted killer Harlow Cuadra made a brief return to the Luzerne County Courthouse on Monday morning.
The male escort and pornographer from Virginia – who murdered his chief rival in the gay porn industry, Bryan Kocis, 44, of Dallas Township – is seeking Post Conviction Collateral Relief, a form of an appeal.
A hearing on the matter, scheduled for Monday, was delayed at Cuadra’s request. Cuadra was then returned to State Correctional Institution at Coal Township, where he is serving a life sentence on murder charges.
A jury convicted Cuadra of Kocis’ murder in May 2009. Joseph Kerekes, his codefendant, lover and business partner, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder prior to the trial and is also serving life in prison.
A new hearing date for Cuadra was set at 10 a.m. Nov. 12.
