Porn Valley- One politician can’t make up her mind between endorsing Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.

Former California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey, better known as a porn starlet, says she likes them both.

Carey, who’ll be dancing at the Creekside Cabaret (3225 Advance Lane), in Colmar, from Thursday through Saturday, is still a registered independent and couldn’t vote in last Tuesday’s California primary. She can, however, now be seen on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” While the show suggests she’s in rehab for alcoholism, Carey tells us it was due to a Xanax addiction. She says she still drinks wine, but not hard liquor and is off Xanax. On two recent episodes of the show Carey was shown as the subject of desire for actor Daniel Baldwin (aka Alec’s brother), who asked her to send him sexy photos of herself, then quickly left rehab.

Carey says she made some lifelong friends in rehab, such as “Grease” actor Jeff Conaway, “American Idol” alum Jessica Sierra, “Family Matters” actress Jaimee Foxworth and Seth “Shifty” Binzer of Crazy Town.

Carey hasn’t been in front of a camera since March, but she’s directing movies for her Mary Carey Productions. She hopes to do stand-up comedy and more mainstream acting work, but hasn’t ruled out more porn.

Her political days aren’t over either, Carey says. She may run for governor of California again and she has entertained running for president.

But she’s not old enough.

“I would have gotten more votes than Ron Paul,” she says.
