I love Kevin and think Fyre TV is a great product. However, I can’t believe that they were ever going to get that ad in MAXIM. Did you know that Maxim is going belly up?
They probably have two mos left before they are done. I know this cause the writer that profiled me for over a year for an article in Maxim- just got his story back from them.
He is now printing the story in Details Magazine, he will also be at the players ball this year writing about the event.
The main reason why Maxim wouldn’t run my story was that they are scared of doing anything PORN related. They have lost so many advertisers that they are worried a story about porn will alienate more advertisers.
Just my 2 cents, but I think it’s relevant considering I handle a lot of PR for clients. Maxim is one place I can no longer go.
In other words- I am in shock that the ad got in Maxim, but I am sure it will be their last month of publishing when it runs. KBeech got lucky!
