NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- Prosecutors rejected a woman's offer Friday to plead guilty to charges that she lied to police investigating the killing of a Canadian porn actress in suburban Philadelphia.

The public defender representing Jennifer Mitkus, of Oaks, said Mitkus wants to plead guilty to lying to authorities and hindering apprehension in the investigation of the murder of Natel King.

Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor said he would not accept the plea because he expects to file additional charges against Mitkus.

Anthony Frederick, of Eagleville, is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 28 in the stabbing death of King. Authorities said Mitkus was Frederick's assistant.

King, who used the stage name Taylor Sumers, was the Toronto area. The 23-year-old disappeared in February 2004 after posing for Frederick in a bondage shoot in Conshohocken. Authorities said the photo shoot was arranged online.

King's body was found in a trash-filled ravine nearly a month later.
