Louisiana- from www.klfy.com – Several convenience store owners are in jail after allegedly selling porn to minors and other illegal items.

Saint Landry Parish investigators raided three Opelousas shops Tuesday as part of a two week investigation. Sheriff Deputies found adult pornographic DVDs being sold in plain sight.

“Some of this material was actually on display with disgusting pictures for the customers to walk in and see and that’s disgusting its horrible” said Sherrif Bobby Guidroz

Charlotte Johnson, a former customer, shocked to hear these movies were being sold to adults and even minors for only seven bucks.

“That’s sad for the young people that be around here you got to send your kids around here and that’s what they get” said Johnson.

During the raids deputies also found items included in what’s known on the streets as a “brown bag special”, items that can be used as drug paraphernalia.

The four men arrested face charges of obscenity, selling harmful material to minors and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say they are investigating the source of the illegal material and are also said to be investigating a fourth spot in the Washington area.
