They’ve come up with “Porn Star Tuesdays,” a night for the porn industry’s best and brightest to get together and sing some karaoke, schmooze it up, and talk new projects. With clothes on, of course. The owner of Sardo’s says the night wasn’t really his idea—it began accidentally in 2003, when some peeps dropped in after a long, hard day on the set. Six years later, Sardo’s porn karaoke night is as virile as ever. So what’s an average night like?

Julie Meadows, the star of “Alice in Fetishland,” likes to bust out her version of “Wild Thing.” And she doesn’t suck. At singing, at least. “I actually did do some recordings when I was younger but everyone told me in music you’ve got to be willing to starve for your art. So I said, ‘No, I’ll go into porn instead and make some money.’” Well that’s one way, I suppose.

Another regular is Magdalene St. Michaels, the 52-year-old actress recently nominated for a MILF/Cougar award. After doing it on camera for a living, you’d think karaoke would be a piece of cake, but that’s not the case. “The first time I got up to sing I was more nervous than the first time I took my clothes off and had sex in front of people,” she admits. Whoa? Really? I think I would choose singing over being filmed during sex, any day.

But not everyone is there to sing. Sonny Malone, a prominent porn editor, is a regular. “I’ve made a hundred deals here,” brags Malone.
