NakedSword Wraps Production on Erotic Thriller "Before We Met"

NakedSword has concluded production on "Before We Met," an erotic thriller directed by Alter Sin and Ben Rush, which is set to premiere in December. The film, shot in Spain, features Derek Kage and John Jai in a story of desire turning into obsession.

Production has wrapped on "Before We Met," a new thriller from NakedSword, as announced on October 13, 2026. The feature was co-directed by Alter Sin and Ben Rush. Filming for "Before We Met" took place entirely on location in Spain.

The cast includes Derek Kage, identified as a three-time XMAs Gay Performer of the Year, and John Jai. The synopsis for "Before We Met" describes a passionate affair between Derek Kage and John Jai that escalates into obsession, stalking, and manipulation, leaving Derek trapped in a dangerous relationship.

Ben Rush, who also serves as Falcon|NakedSword’s Co-Chief Content Officer, commented on the film's central theme, stating that the tension between wanting someone and being afraid of their actions is at the core of the film. Rush added that "Before We Met" captures something intimate yet unsettling, and praised the cast for their delivery. Alter Sin noted the intention for the movie to be both erotic and to maintain a simmering unease, aiming to draw the audience into the same seductive trap as the characters.
