www.theimproper.com- Natalie Dylan, a 22-year-old college grad who thought she had hit a big payday when she sold her virginity to an Australian businessman for $3.7 million, won't be deflowered anytime soon.
The Aussie welcher backed out on her, as well as his non-refundable $250,000 deposit. Seems his wife got wind of the offer! Now Natalie is back to square one, and back on the market.
Natalie (not her real name) graduated from Sacramento State College, and claimed she was selling her virginity to help finance her graduate studies. Ironically, Dylan says she plans to pursue a master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy.
The businessman, unnamed, and Natalie were supposed to meet at the Moonlite BunnyRanch outside of Las Vegas to consummate the deal. But his disgruntled wife learned of the future transaction and nixed it. The man subsequently reconciled with his wife and now they are back together, according to BunnyRancy owner Dennis Hof.
"Natalie is dying to put this thing to bed so she can move on with her scholastic studies and life in general." Hof said. "Natalie's Australian businessman's loss is her future lovers gain."
Nonetheless, Natalie is starting at the bottom. She is entertaining initial offers of $50,000 to give up her virginity. From there, she hopes to all land a book deal, documentary or possibly a motion picture.
The auction is being conducted online at bunnyranch.com. Dylan’s sister Aviah, 23, works as a prostitute at the ranch, a legalized brothel.
Hof failed to mention that he gets one-half of the winning bid in exchange for hosting the auction on his website and for allowing the deal to be sealed at his sleazy brothel.
Dylan, who has agreed to a medical examination to prove that she is in fact a virgin, has repeatedly said that she reserves the right to reject the highest bidder if someone with a lesser bid strikes her fancy.
[Editor's note: Check out this interview from November 2008, where Natalie talked to Tyra Banks about why she's auctioning her virginity.]
Natalie says a wide range of men, including "weirdos" and "rich businessmen" have bid on her virginity. "I get some men who are obviously looking for a girlfriend but I try and make it clear that this is a one-night-only offer," says Dylan.
Natalie also dismisses other people's judgments on her actions. "I know that a lot of people will condemn me for this because it's so taboo but I really don't have a problem with that," says Dylan.
"I'm not being taken advantage of in any way," she says. "I think me and the person I do it with will both profit greatly from the deal." Dylan adds: "It's shocking that men will pay so much for someone's virginity, which isn't even prized so highly anymore."
Apparently, they won't. At least no hers.
