Washington D.C.- Kevin Ronan’s headed to jail. After less than a day of deliberation, a jury has found disgraced Navy doctor guilty of downloading gay porn, as well as secretly taping male students having sex with their girlfriends. They must not have bought his extortion story:

The jury of five men and one woman — all Navy captains — issued their decision shortly after 11 a.m. at the Washington Navy Yard, where the general court martial was conducted against [Ronan].

He was found guilty of conduct unbecoming an officer, illegal wiretapping and obstruction of justice.

Ronan’s father, Francis Ronan, said the family is “devastated.”

“I did not expect this. … It’s been a miserable nine months,” Francis Ronan said.

Ronan has yet to be sentenced, but he could face ten years in jail, which will no doubt make the last nine months seem like a breeze.
