from www.dailymail.co.uk – A teacher who held sex and drugs parties at her home with underage teens has been jailed for ten years.

Sarah Jane Lindsay [Right] pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct and contributing to the delinquency of minors.

The 44-year-old staged summer sex parties at her home with her teaching colleague Audrey Beidleman Grabarkiewicz [Left].

As many as ten students attended the parties during the summer of 2011.

Both women were pre-school teachers and parents of young children.

The sex parties were held at their homes in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and were discovered after the parents of the one of teens found out he had been given alcohol.

Police launched an investigation and discovered the women had plied the teens with alcohol and marijuana.

Lindsay, who is married, faced the more serious charges as the boys she admitted having sex with her under the age of 14.

Grabarkiewicz, 46, was charged with ten counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Charges were not brought against Grabarkiewicz for sexual relations with some of the teens because they were of the age of consent under South Carolina law.

She awaits prosecution on the delinquency of a minor charges.

The two women, who were dubbed ‘teacher cougars’ by bloggers, were immediately suspended from their jobs after their arrest.

Lindsay worked at Boiling Springs Elementary School’s where she taught four-year-old child development.

By pleading guilty Lindsay avoided a much harsher sentence.

She was told the 10 year sentence would be suspended but for 40 months.

Lindsay must serve 80 per cent of the sentence but will be given credit for the 473 days already spent behind bars.

The former teacher was also given five years probation and must attend mental health counseling after her release.
