BARCELONA, Spain — Private Media Group Inc. (Nasdaq: PRVT – News) a worldwide leader in premium-quality adult entertainment products, services and mobile and Internet content, today announced the hiring of its new Chief Operating Officer, Peter T. Cohen.
Peter T. Cohen, an experienced senior executive in media/entertainment, has been officially hired by Private Media Group as its new Chief Operating Officer. Cohen will be responsible for the daily operations of the Company, overall business strategies and management, strategic joint venture/licensing expansion and all new media platform development including mobile, internet and IPTV/VOD.

Mr. Cohen has extensive media/entertainment experience, having worked as a strategic digital content consultant, as Senior Executive Vice President for Worldwide Media and Entertainment at BillboardLive and as Senior Vice President of Programming at The Box Music Network where he oversaw all aspects of programming and state of the art interactive cross platform applications. Prior to this, Cohen has held senior executive positions at various media/entertainment companies including HBO, CNN International, MuchMusic and ACTV Inc. Cohen holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine, USA.
